Berners hall is a 24 acre farm reservoir near Fyfield,Ongar. The lake was first stocked in 2002 and a syndicate was formed the following year. Over the last few years the lake has been stocked from several sources and there are now over 450 carp present many of these are upper twenties with a good number now being caught over 30lb including two over 37lb. There are 20 purpose built swims giving over an acre of water for each angler. The fishing can be prolific when you’re on the fish will almost every method producing fish.

The fish have piled on the weight in the last twelve months and we are expecting our first forty this coming season. We now have a toilet block on site which is being plumbed in over the winter. There are spaces for
